Following on from the success of the 2023 NHS and Social Care Careers Expo, the Mid and South Essex Health & Care Academy have announced the date for their 2024 event!

The 2024 event will be held on Wednesday 26th June at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford and will welcome young people from schools and colleges across Mid and South Essex to learn more about some of the fantastic careers and opportunities that they can access in the NHS and Social Care.

The 2023 event saw over 425 students from 31 different schools across the region attend and over 30 teams from various disciplines of the NHS and Social Care were present on the day.  Ambassadors from these teams provided a series of interactive activities, workshops and seminars for the young people to participate in, all of which helped them develop their knowledge and understanding of what a career in the NHS or Social Care could look like for them.

The Academy team will be inviting schools and colleges to attend either a morning or an afternoon session in early 2024 and are currently looking for additional NHS and Social Care teams from across the ICS who would like to take part in the 2024 event.
