Course Description
This in-person course is held at Brentwood Community Hospital, Crescent Drive, Shenfield, Brentwood, Essex, CM15 8DR.
Modules for this in person course include:
- What is changing in Law (Draft Mental Health Bill and Liberty Protection Safeguards)
- Who are the most affected Patient groups
- What age ranges are covered by Adult and Child Assessments
- How the changes will affect Mental Capacity Act (MCA) assessments in care settings
- Emergency actions that can be used if a person may harm themselves or others
