This short virtual programme is designed for anyone who is fully employed, unable to take part in our Halo pre employment-programme or who is interested in a career change into the Health and Social Care sector.
This short programme will cover:
• Introductions to the NHS (Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust & Essex Partnership University Trust) and Social Care.
• NHS/Social Care job roles and progression.
• NHS application & TRAC knowledge (with further support if needed).
• Values and Resilience
• Health & Social Care sector knowledge, with Halo resources.
• Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in the workplace.
• Pre-interview support on completion of the programme when offered a Health & Social Care interview.
For anyone aged 18 years old or above; you can also gain further support for 6 months with The Prince’s
Trust on completion of this programme. Through 1-2-1 mentoring support, we can help assist you with
your job search, application support, free mental health support with MYND UP, access to a free bursary,
pre-interview support and 3 months additional support when you enter the workplace.
