Healthcare Science Exploration Webinar

Time:
17:00 to 18:00

Are you interested in finding out more about the
Healthcare Sciences?

There are over fifty thousand healthcare scientists working in the NHS and public
health services. They form a scientific backbone for the work of the NHS, leading
a wide range of innovative work from world class healthcare research to
improved patient outcomes.

If you are passionate about science and technology, and about helping others, a
career in healthcare science could be the perfect match for you.
Healthcare scientists work in more than fifty specialisms which can be
categorised into four groups:

  • Life (laboratory) sciences
  • Physiological sciences
  • Physical sciences (medical physics and clinical engineering)
  • Clinical bioinformatics

To celebrate Healthcare Science Week from 9th – 15th March, you can attend an online
careers webinar where you can find out more about the different areas of
healthcare science, hear from some of the specialist teams at the Norfolk and
Norwich Hospital and learn about training and career opportunities.

We would welcome teaching staff and careers leads, as well as students, who are
interested in finding out more.
