Could you make a difference to the next generation? Help the Health & Care Academy attract the future healthcare workforce by inspiring young people to consider the wide variety of professions available in the NHS and Social Care.

Health & Care Academy Ambassadors

Mid and South Essex Health and Care Academy is part of Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System and works with NHS and Social Care healthcare partners to provide learning opportunities to young people in our region to help them better understand the wide range of career opportunities they can access here.

We work with young people in primary schools, secondary schools, sixth form and further education college settings across Mid and South Essex and offer a wide range of engaging activities for young people to get involved in to learn more.

Our Academy Ambassadors are incredibly important to our work and volunteer their time to promote careers in the NHS and Social Care by talking to young people in schools, colleges and sixth form settings across the region about their role and their career pathway to help inspire and encourage the next generation to consider a career in the NHS or Social Care.

Our work really does make a difference and is helping us to develop the local talent pool to ensure that we have a skilled workforce for the future. Becoming an Academy Ambassador is also a great personal and professional development tool which can help you to build your skills, experience and confidence.
