As part of our annual Health & Care Careers Expo 2026 event in July, we’re excited to invite Year 12 students to our Health & Care Careers Taster Sessions.
We have two sessions available this year that are designed to give students a real feel for the pathways, skills and experiences that shape a career in health and care, whether they’re curious about clinical roles, support services, or wider community‑focused careers.
Session 1 – Health & Care Careers Workshop
Session 2 – Medicine, Medical Science and Pharmaceutical Science Workshop
What to expect
• Interactive activities that bring health and care scenarios to life
• A course overview to help students understand training and study options
• An insight into student life, including what it’s like to learn and progress in the sector
• Useful tips on applying and interview guidance to support next‑step decisions
• The Health & Care Careers Exhibition, showcasing a wide range of roles and pathways
• Lots of opportunities to ask questions and speak directly with staff, students and employers
